Illuminating the Way
One fatefull evening I was lucky to catch a distant glow off on the horizon. It was 3am, -20 below zero, but I knew I had to stay and capture at least image. I didn't know exactly what my composition would be since I couldn't see anything through the viewfinder, so I made a calculated guess, locked my tripod and set the exposure for 30 min. I knew I'd only have time for one, if my camera could even brave such chilly temps for that long. To my surprise and delight however, it turned out better than I could have imagined. On of my most inspired creations personally to date.
